RAISING ALFIE (A blog from the heart)
Raising a child with special needs can be lonely and is full of challenges. Sometimes just knowing that someone else understands what you are going through can really help.
This is a blog for parents of children with Autism (ASD) and Global Development Delay primarily but is created with lots of love to carry messages of hope and support from me to you, whatever your personal situation.
The blog is not designed to be pretty. It is honest, and raw.
Through videos, photos and text, I share my journey so far; the good the bad and the downright ugly of Autism, along with some lifesaving tips I have picked up along the way to help cope with no sleep, sensory needs and meltdowns.
Why am I sharing my crazy life so publicly? To let you know that you are not alone. I get it. And there is hope. Not every day will be dark – there are plenty of beautiful rainbows too.
